On our recent sabbatical to america, we visited with artist Eric Yahnker to shoot a series of photos documenting his L.A. studio. A former animator for South Park, Yahnker now busies himself producing hyper detailed drawings and humorous sculptures.
If it wasn’t for the incredible technical ability, Eric Yahnker might be dismissed as just another conceptual joker with all tits and puns and pop culture references that adorn the work. But along with all this adolescent humour and celebrity baiting is an interest in enlightening the audience, investigating things a little more deeply.
